Dirty D Week 5 Power Ranks

1. Tahiti Loungers (last week #2)- Ryan Mathews is a beast. Anyone who doesn't think so didn't watch the game Sunday night. He's the same fantasy player as Darren McFadden and has established himself as a weekly top 5 back until further notice. I've decided to put in print what I've believed for years: Arian Foster is the best weekly bet for a TD in the NFL. I think I heard last night he has 39 TDs in 40 career games. Decker, Smith, and White all had slow games for me, I still scored 126 points and the return of Aaron Hernandez couldn't be better timed with the black unicorn banged up and a HUGE matchup with Team Ice Cream this week. Want more proof this isn't a "homer" pick? Since I made the major trade(s) to acquire Rodgers and White, my team has scored the most points (421) in the league. The next highest scorer in that time frame (3 weeks) is my sister, Jenna at 406.

2. Eat More Chicken (last week #3)- Jenna squeaked out a very, VERY close matchup with a 137-136 win over Campbell. Through 5 weeks this team has scored more than any other- but with some terrible luck Jenna only has 2 wins. I highly doubt this team can keep up the scoring pace, the starting lineup is very good- but this team has literally no depth and I can't see how that won't catch up to her.  She DID survive this past week with Megatron on bye, and the return of Mendenhall couldn't have been more perfectly timed. This team can't really withstand anymore injuries. We'll see how long Jenna remains up here in the upper-echelon of the Power Ranks but for now, everyone else (especially the Burlones and the Cosgroves) can sit back and watch the Brown family dominate.

3. Team Ice Cream (last week #1)- Out of nowhere, Adam laid an egg and scored the lowest score of the week with only 87 points. What's more concerning is the injuries to RG3 and Finley. Both seem to be OK, both claim to be ready to suit up next week. Finley let's just face it is a middling TE option. He has a long track record of dropping passes and even though he is dripping with potential... it ain't happenin. RG3 just takes way too many hits, Adam does have Vick as a backup so its not a huge drop off but it's playing with fire when both your Qbs are small and mobile and take a lot of hits. If anyone one of the WR outside of AJ Green on this team starts producing, I would feel better about this roster moving forward (And there are plenty of them on this team with the potential to bust out). This week's matchup vs my team should be a really entertaining one and would be a very good win for Adam. Hopefully the 87 points was but a blip on the radar, let us not forget Adam came out to a blistering start last year too, only to finish in 2nd to last place. I don't see that happening this year but it HAS to be in his head.

4. Crossing Guards (last week #8)-  The GM of the week award goes to Bill for sure. Half of his team was on a bye, so Bill made moves (acquired AP, Romo) and pulled out the biggest blow out of the week vs the only undefeated team. Romo is very, very shaky but I think coming out of the bye the Cowboys will figure some stuff out and he will be better. This team is pretty stacked, I'd def take bets w/ anyone who thinks Bill isn't making the playoffs this year. Bill has 3 straight weeks with a completely full roster and semi-weak opponents so this is the part of the schedule where Bill can pile up W's.

5. A Pinch Better (last week #4)- I really dislike this team. If I were to make a list of a team roster's I'd like to own, this would be last. Victor Cruz is a God amongst men, but after that I want to scratch my eyes out when looking at this horrible team. I suppose Marshawn Lynch is solid too but I've never liked him. I don't know how Sean is the 3rd highest scoring team, but I do know that this team will never win the championship as is. The only positive thing I have to say about this organization is that I know Sean is trying to make moves like crazy to fix his team. He has AWFUL trade etiquette, so trade partners beware; Sean is a scum bag when it comes to trading and he may verbally agree to a trade but his word means very little. He is super shady when it comes to betting and trading.

6. A1 Providers (last week #6)- Paul dropped a BOMB on Donny this week, another win fueled largely by Brees/Welker. I struggle to rank this team any higher, though. Benson is going to be out the rest of the season and it won't be long until Turner hits a wall and this team starts to decline. It's nice that Paul has stacked up 4 wins already though (largely the result of the easiest schedule so far), he is going to be close to the playoff bubble I think. This week will be a challenge for Paul because Brees is on a bye, so we will see if he can survive a week without one of the cornerstones of his roster. (My prediction is he loses to the Boston Patriots this week, FTR)

7. Victorious Secret (last week #5)- Another gross week for Kait. What's up with team? It's the opposite of A Pinch Better. I LOVE this roster, but nothing is coming together for Kait. Colston has really come one the past couple weeks, but per usual the QB position has been an enigma for Kait. In year's past Kait has leaned on that stud QB, but unless a major move is on the horizon Kait is going to have to learn to win with her elite RB/WR combos. I think she has enough fire power to get by with what she has, but a QB upgrade would be the move to make for this team. The RB depth here is exceptional.

8. the rental guys (last week #7)- Dan is a notorious complainer. He likes to chirp me via text all the time but isn't man enough to publicize his opinions or thoughts for everyone else to see. I can't say I blame him for avoiding accountability... In the past he has cried "trade rape" and in nearly every occasion he has been wrong and made to look a fool. SO I made a deal with him, I would not say anything about his team anymore and he agreed not to bitch/comment about my power rankings. He says I am a homer for ranking my team so favorably, I counter with the idea that I back up all my opinions with fact and these are my own personal rankings anyway. Hate on hater.

9. The Godfather (last week #11)- Huge Week for Abe. This is clearly a Boom-or-Bust team, and Abe proved it with the highest week of the season so far at 162. If any of the WR on Abe's team wanted to step up and play, his team would be much more dangerous. However, if the status quo remains here, your looking at a 6-7 Jeckyll and Hyde type team that will cause headaches for both Abe and some of his opponents. I would be working the trade market pretty hard if I were Abe.

10. Angry Pirates (last week #12)- Campbell lost again and fell to 0-5. The playoffs at this point are probably nothing but a dream. However, this is most certainly NOT the worst team in the league anymore. Campbell made another major move before this week and is trotting out a damn competitive lineup from now on. I'm sure the people below Campbell on this list will be upset with the leap frog but I predict Campbell finishing much closer to the middle of the pack in total points. Right now he is dead last since this past week was the first time he's broken 100 this year.

11. Boston Patriots (last week #9)- This team is probably pretty frustrating to own. On paper, it looks more than solid. Mike Wallace, Jimmy Graham, and the Lawfirm all disappointed again this week... and you know the clock is ticking on Mr. Frank Glass. This team is good, but outside of that Week 1 outburst of 150 points this team has averaged just 105, which will get you a loss 90% of the time. I have some concerns and Mr. B isn't known for his in-season trading, unfortunately a move or 2 may be necessary for this team to get back in the playoff discussion.

12. Comeback Story. (last week #10)- This team has too many uninspiring efforts to be ranked higher than this. The  140 point showing  in Week 2 was 26 points higher than any week Donny has had yet, and may very well be this team's ceiling. The WR depth on this team is really strong, however If I owned this team I would have been making moves weeks ago. MJD isn't good enough to carry this team on his back and every other RB on this team is garbage. Andrew Luck could maybe establish himself as a viable fantasy starter, but the fact remains he is a rookie and WILL have those games where he looks awful. And, let's face it,  Gronk in the first round was a reach and is hurting this team. Now that I have awarded this team the low spot on the ranks, maybe now there will be a chance for an amazing comeback story.... Just don't bet on it.

This is my nightmare...

2012: Miggy's Triple Crown

Even though this was a forgetful year for Red Sox fans, I wanted to just  comment on some of the stuff  that's happened this year in the MLB that I never wrote about or mentioned on this blog.

First and foremost, Miguel Cabrera won the Triple Crown in the AL. No one has accomplished the feat since well before my time; Carl Yaztremski was the last winner in 1967.

Cabrera led the Majors in Home Runs (44) RBI (139) and led the AL in batting average with a a .330 mark. Just an outstanding season. This guy isn't particularly well-liked, but it was nice to see someone break a record, even though it was a Red Sox record for so many years.

All this crazy-talk about Mike Trout being named MVP over Miggy is just ludicrous. People really aren't going to award the first triple crown winner in 45 years the MVP? I know what Mike Trout did, and it was amazing, but he will have a chance to win MVPs plenty over the next decade. This year's award should go to Cabrera and it should be unanimous.

This is the first year MLB decided to go with a "play-in" playoff game. It places a lot higher value on winning the division, and the essence of the rule was accurate and appropriate, as you had multiple playoff teams playing hard up until yesterday. In the past team's would sit back and just set up their rotation for the Divisional round, not caring about home field advantage. Now, The Rangers-Orioles and the Cardinals-Braves will have one game to keep their season alive.

The other teams that made this playoffs were The Yankees (of course the Sox couldn't prevent them from winning the division in the last series of the reg. season. fail) the Athletics, the Tigers, the Red the Giants and the Nationals.

I highly doubt I watch more than a few hours of playoff baseball, but I'll throw out a prediction. I WANT the Braves, O's, Nationals or Reds to win the World Series. I think, unfortunately, the Tigers are going to win it. I just can't bring myself to vote against Justin Verlander, literally the ultimate gamer. He is definitely in the discussion for my favorite current baseball players.

Verlander. Stud.

One of these days I will write a post about the 2012 Red Sox, what went wrong, what needs to change, blah blah blah, For now I get sick every time I think about the Red Sox so I don't have any motivation to write anything about it.

Outsider Rankings for the GPL

Here are my rankings for the GPL, a fantasy football league I am not involved in at all.

*This is an Keeper auction league. I've never actually participated in an Auction league so I think my opinion will be a good, bi-partisan one for this league. I have no idea how much money was spent on each player, and I don't know who kept who. These rankings are based on 2012 alone.

Also, for you members of the league, feel free to leave comments and shit at the bottom of this page. And keep checking this blog.

12 team, PPR league.

1. Paddy's Liberty Bells- One of my favorite quotes sums up this team perfectly- "If luck wasn't involved, I'd win every time." Hands down the best roster.

2.  The Little Richardsons- This team is stacked. If they were able to swap one of the QBs for a top running back, it'd be right there with the top team.

3. Ed Reed's Can Collection- This team is very, very deep. I would advise upgrading a couple starting  positions if possible to compete with the elite. Who ever own's this team must have had an incredible draft.

4. Blackmon And Decker- This team is really good and really young. Should be able to overcome the mediocre Luck/Romo QB combo with all the other talent on this team. Decker-Smith-Green-Garcon all top 20 WR weekly options.

5. Drivin With Donte- I'm a believer in Ryan Mathews. A healthy Mathews/Nicks combo (to go along with the other studs) will cause major damage.

6. The Steve Smith Arrival- One of those teams with a very high floor, but not as high of a ceiling as the teams I've ranked above. Still a very competitive lineup that will win a lot more games.

7.  El Champ es Aqui- I'm not 100% sold on this team's backfield but if Morris and Murray can hold up all year, this team will rise. El campeon es posiblemente aqui.

8. The Best Team- I love the studs on this teams but the talent level drops off the cliff after 6 people. One of those teams who may face some problems in the byes.

9. M Twice- There's only one knock on this team and it's the glaring issue of RB2. If Quizz ever takes over for Turner, I think you're looking at the new "Jahvid Best" and this team would probably be ranked 3-4 spots higher.

10. Anti Awesome White Stuff- The ultimate high-risk high-reward team. Ultimately though, that doesn't lead to fantasy sucess. Makes for a GREAT dream crusher at the end of the regular  season though.

11. Ohio Mizzzzerables- I love the top WR on this team. I still love Stafford for the rest of this year. After that It gets murky and I just don't know if this roster can hang with the rest of the league, as is. The name is pretty telling.

12. Stump the Schaub- I love QB-WR connections but not when they are on a run-heavy team. If Ridley, CJ?K, and Reggie can all perform, this team will undoubtedly out play this low ranking. I just don't believe in Johnson and while I love JImmy Graham, he won't be able to carry this team like he may have last year.

Dirty D Week 4 Power Ranks

1. Team Ice Cream (last week #1)- Another big week for Adam (151) , who was given a scare for the first time this season. I think it's pretty clear AJ Green can safely classified as an elite fantasy WR, and he's only going to get better. Adam's team will keep rolling and RGIII will continue to beast in the near future. It will be interesting to see if he can keep up his MVP pace all season; it was only a year ago we saw Cam Newton do the EXACT same thing, but faded quickly down the stretch. Hopefully RGIII can maintain his high level of play for Adam.

2. Tahiti Loungers (last week #2)- Welcome home, Roddy White. I traded Larry Fitz and Lance Moore for White earlier in the week, and boy did he reward me with a nice 42 point performance. My other WR also put up big weeks... 20+ for both Torrey Smith and Decker for consecutive weeks. If this team can stay healthy, you add a dangerous Ryan Mathews and maybe the best TE in this format in Aaron Hernandez, you're looking at probably the strongest roster I've ever had in any league EVER. That's saying something.

3. Eat More Chicken (last week #4)- I'm going to use this space to try and clarify what exactly Power Rankings are for the slower people who cannot grasp the concept. MY Power Rankings are mostly based on how good I think a team is going to do from this point forward, however I also factor in recent performances, recent roster moves, basically I re-evaulate each team every week. Win/Loss record is not so important, especially early in the season. Ranking Jenna's team at #3 this week is a great example to reference when pointing out the difference between Power Ranks and Standings. She currently has a 1-3 record, but has the 2nd highest point total in the league, averaging 132 points per week. That's awful luck. Just because Jenna has had bad luck with the schedule I am not going to rank, say, Comeback Story (Averages 110 per week) ahead of her just because Donny has a better record. These Power Rankings are just one man's opinion and I welcome comments and debates in the comment section.   Jenna almost took down Adam, and fell just 3 points shy. Matty Ice is just carrying this team... and I don;t think he cools off. Megatron only up 10 points, so Jenna COULD have EXPLODED but the rest of her roster made up for Calvin. An easy matchup with the "champ" next week should right the ship.

4. A Pinch Better (last week #6)- Sean had another big week- scored 140+  Clearly I was wrong about this team. If Sean kept the faith and played Chris Johnson, he would have actually tied me at 161. I am giving Sean the bump up in rankings not only for the big week but also for the consistently and exceptional play of his QB-WR combo Eli-Cruz. They both have stepped it up even more than I thought they would, and as long as they continue to produce (Miles, too) Sean will be in the conversation for playoffs.

5.Victorious Secret (last week #7)- Kait had a nice bounce back week with her QB on a bye. After picking up Big Ben, Kait hopefully has stopped the bleeding from her QB spot. Colston had a nice break-out week but Gates is starting to concern me. I know the Chargers went up huge early and didn't have to throw, but I still think Gates is going to disappoint into the future.  Andre Johnson and Marques Colston are both beasts when they play, Kait is going to need a full season from both.

6. A1 Providers (last week #8)-  BOOOOM. Biggest blowout of the week and a romping 157 points for Paul. This team is so dangerous to play right now. Welker is lighting it up again without Hernandez in the picture. Brees just throws bombs all game. The old-men Turner and Benson both look good and oh yea Paul also left a 32 point performance by Witten on his bench. Thankfully for my team I don't square off with Paul until week 11 when this team could be much, much lower on this list.

7. the rental guys (last week #3)- I think there is a lot of concern to be had with this team. Dan traded away Jordy Nelson and Doug Martin in return for Brandon Marshall, earlier in the week. A clear upgrade at the WR position but losing a work-horse rb in the process is not ideal, especially with the bye weeks coming. Hopefully for Dan Ryan Williams can step up and replace Martin or else this move won't look great. Speaking of bye weeks the only positive Dan might be able to extract from this week is his boy Reggie Wayne had a bye and couldn't help out. Cam Newton had 30 and B Marsh had 28.... plus Dan had an incredibly lucky 24 point performance by Anquan Boldin. Sounds like a good week right? Wrong. Maclin did absolutely nothing. Andre Brown was hauled back down to earth and relegated to back up duties. Forte was contained. Slotting in the GB defense was an awful move, they predictably scored only 4 points in a shootout. Anyway what really concerns me about Dan's team long term is the inability to blow up. I thought he had it (pre season ranked 3rd) but now I'm not sure. 129-114-111-112 is sort of an uninspiring string of weeks through a quarter of the season. As I've said Dan has that high floor, but clearly unless you can score in the 130s and 140s, your going to struggle to compete every week. The other concern here is the tough upcoming schedule, the next 4 weeks are not easy for Dan. We'll see how it shakes out, andI still think this team probably sneaks into the playoffs, but I am somewhat concerned Dan's playoff streak could end.

8. Crossing Guards (last week #5)- Bill took a step backwards this week. Another hard team to rank, because on paper the Guards are pretty damn solid. I would be concerned a bit with DMC... I am just as shocked as everyone else that he hasn't been destroying it this year. The trio of Nicks/Hixon/Barden is maybe a frustrating one to own... but Bill has the roster space for it along with other WR Studs Percy and Dez (fantasy stud only.) Stafford will likely bounce back in a big way after the bye, but unfortunately Bill has almost 0% chance of winning this week. With undefeated Team Ice Cream on the schedule, Bill somehow has to put a squad together without these guys who are all on bye or hurt: Stafford, Dez, DMC, Leshoure, Nicks. Yikes. Are those 3 of his first 4 picks? It will take a miracle for a W this week for Bill.

9. Boston Patriots (last week #10)- Julio Jones only had 1 catch this past week and I'm starting to get concerned. I'm sure he will be great, most likely a top 15 WR, but I am scaling back my HUGE expectations for Julio. Mike Wallace was on a bye this week and Bitt remains injured so the WR depth here isn't great. Gore and BJGE were solid again and will continue to be. Jimmy Graham does score a lot, but he needs a lot more production between the 20s to live up to his draft spot. The Boston Patriots have some really, really good matchups next week, so I expect a much better performance.

10. Comeback Story. (last week #11)- Dwayne Bowe is really good. I haven't given him the credit he has deserved in the past. He's been great this year and probably won't slow down. This team has an influx of WR and If I was the owner of this team, I would have traded one of them for a solid RB yesterday. F Jax I just don't trust to get back to RB2 level (Concerned with age, sharing time, getting blown out) and McCluster/D Richardson are just lotto tickets at the moment. MJD is studly but this year he may not get up to the elite level we have seen in the past...This week will be a good test vs Chicago's D. Don sorely missed Andrew Luck this week... Russell Wilson had a measly 1 point in St. Louis. Should be a tough matchup next week vs a red hot A1 Providers squad but I think overall this team has underperformed to it's talent thus far.

11. The Godfather (last week #9)- Slow week for The Godfather. Brady and Charles both did their jobs, but everyone else failed. No of the others had double digits. Greg Jennings left with a nagging groin injury which seems really bad this season. I just think Abe is going to have too many weeks like this- I like the team but don't see it as a playoff roster unless some major changes are made. I do think Abe has the type of team to be a great spoiler- Weeks 9-13 Abe could crush a lot of dreams.

12. Angry Pirates (last week #12)- I wanted to move Campbell up in the Ranks, I really did, but I just can't. For the 2nd consecutive week I think Campbell has improved his roster via the trade market, but the kid can't catch a break. Pitta 0 points. Dougie Fresh 5. Kicker 2. He DID make a couple stupid lineup changes (Holmes vs SF over Jones vs NO) but that barely mattered. This team is just looking to hit the century mark for the first time, luckily he faces Jenna next week with Megatron on a bye or he may actually have been outscored by the Lions WR alone. Still a pretty daunting week upcoming for Campbell and more than likely another Loss.

Vince Wilfork is a MONSTER

No surprise Jones is hurt now... only way it would be better is if his helmet popped off.

What happened? Europe retains the Ryder Cup

Well, that sucked. Team Europe headed into Sunday's individual pairings down 10-4, the same exact margin the American's faced in 1999 at The Country Club in Brookline. The pulled off the "Miracle at Medinah" late in the afternoon after a series of events that silenced the raucous home crowd of USA.

To get the mushy bull-shit out of the way I'll quickly mention that Team Europe was outwardly playing for their late fallen Ryder Cup hero- Seve Ballestros. They had his silhouette on their sleeves, and clearly used it as motivation to get the W.

Seve on the sleeves

Luke Donald vs Bubba Watson

Donald took control of this match early and never looked back. Bubba made a late push but came up short. The Euros stacked their lineup with their 5 best players in the first 5 matches, clearly a winning strategy since they WON ALL FIVE and took an 11-10 lead.

Ian Poulter vs Webb Simpson

We know Poulter is a gamer. My friend Bill said it perfectly- Poulter's the guy you hate on the other team but love on your own. Brad Marchand, if you will. Anyway Webb started great but Poulter would not be denied and played exceptional golf down the stretch to win the match. I think it was a tweet from Trey Wingo but he said something along the lines of "Every 2 years, Poulter's the best player in the world, right on cue"

Masterful 2012 Ryder Cup by the world's #1

Rory McIlroy vs Keegan Bradley

What a matchup. Rory was actually late to the course- he was confused about his tee time and almost missed the Tee. Unfortunately he made it, and like he said it may actually have been an advantage becuase he didn't have time to over think anything. If Bradley were to have pulled off this win, he would have capped off the greatest performance in Ryder Cup history, beating the #1 player in the world and going undefeated. That didn't happen. Rory ended Bradley's incredible run. After the victory, Rory took a bow to the crowd and that's the moment I started worrying about the American lead. I wish McIlroy was American SO BAD. He's such a boss.

Justin Rose vs Phil Mikelson

This was a great back and forth matchup where the lead changed hand a few different times. Phil ended up losing on great green-play by Rose toward the end. Mikelson was back down to earth today after playing with Bradley all week. Those 2 guys clearly fed off each other and both desperately could have used the other yesterday. Phil somehow thought it was funny or cool that he lost am I'm sure he catching a ton of shit for his reaction to Rose' winning putt:

Laugh it up Phil. You just blew it. Again.

Paul Lawrie vs Brandt Snedeker

This was a blow out. Lawrie won 5 & 4 and Snedeker never had a chance. I knew this whole week would be tough for Snedeker, he was so high after his FedEx cup win just last week and his 2012 Ryder cup record was an ugly 1-3 record.

Nick Colsaerts vs Dustin Johnson

Finally a W for the Americans. Johnson played very good on Sunday, maybe USA's best player, and he silenced the Ryder Cup rookie Colsaerts with a clean victory, never trailing. It was nice to see someone actually hold a lead and close out their match.

Graeme McDowell vs Zach Johnson

Apparently we should only have selected golfers with the last name Johnson. Zach handled McDowell, who had a rough week, pretty well. ZJ never trailed and like DJ, he actually had the stones to close out his match.

At this point the score was 12-9, USA leading. Needing 2 1/2 points to retain the cup, USA was still looking good.

Sergio Garcia vs Jim Furyk

Here's where the US lost it. Furyk, arguably USA's strongest player in this format, blew it hard. On the 17th tee Furyk was  1 up. He proceeded to lose the last 2 holes and couldn't even salvage half a point. This was bad. When Garcia won this match (with a makeable par miss by Furyk on 18) I knew team USA's bus was approaching Choke-City. Also, Furyk was a captain's choice for the team so DLIII might catch heat for this one.

Peter Hanson vs Jason Dufner

The last full point the Americans would earn came from Dufner. He went wire-to-wire and never trailed in his match. It was nice to see this rookie come through for the Americans... Hopefully next Ryder Cup Dufner makes the team and builds on this performance. This match was rarely showed on TV so I didn't get to see much and also I don't now if I technically even saw Peter Hanson all weekend.

Lee Westwood vs Matt Kuchar

This was a blood bath. Kooch was manhandled by Westwood down the stretch, losing the last 3 holes. I feel bad because I think Kooch lipped out like 4 times yesterday but no excuses. Westwood played better than earlier in the week and when that guy is no top of his game, he is tough to beat.

Kaymer after winning it for Europe

Martin Kaymer vs Steve Stricker

Ahhhh. Steve Stricker. Captain's pick. Winless in the tourny. Ouch. The match was all square going into 17 and at this point in time, the US needed 1 win and 1 tie in the last 2 matches. With Tiger as our anchor, Stricker only needed to halve the last 2 holes with Kaymer to let Tiger win it. What happened? Stricker lost 17 and had a poor effort on 18. Kaymer sunk the 6 foot putt to retain the cup for Europe.

Francisco Molinari vs Tiger Woods

Well Molinari beat Tiger on Sunday LAST Ryder cup, so this re-match could have been great. As I mentioned Kaymer won it for the Euros on the 18th green while Woods and Molinari were in the fairway waiting to hit their approach shots. Even though Euro had won, I guess they played out the last hole and halved the match, so Tiger also went winless all week. 0-3-1. That brings Tiger's all time Ryder cup record to 13-17-3. That's so gross.  I wanted SO BADLY for the Ryder Cup to come down to Tiger on 17 or 18, but unfortunately we blew it before Woods had a shot. I'm confident he would have came through with the Cup on the line. Too bad we never got to see it.

In Conclusion, Team Europe deserved the Win for their dominating performance on Sunday. They won 8 of the first 11 matches to bury the Americans. It was an incredibly deflating day for the Medinah crowd- they deserved better. This tournament was so, so great. I love how golf can be a team-game, and even if you are not a golfer or golf fan I believe you could have tuned in all weekend and been instantly captivated.

PS- Anyone wanna go crazy and make the trip to Scotland in 2014 for the Ryder Cup? I'm in. And our American team should be very strong in 2014... we had a lot of younger guys gain some very valuable experience in this worst collapse of all time.
